LOVE THIS. This is a great application of scale, shape, and color. The strong patterns work in this space because, like in choosing fabrics, they complement each other. The pattern on the fireplace facade and hearth is large-scale and organic in its arrangement. The pattern and shape of the table are geometric, so it does not compete with the fireplace, but speaks to the colors in it and the sofa.

LOVE IT. Variation in stain colors almost creates an ombre pattern. The staggered placement of the different woods gives it a fluid or organic appearance. Combined, the look and feel are akin to what you might find in nature...only nature has yet not produced such a piece.

LOVE THIS. A touch of well-placed bold color can elevate a design. The combination of color and pattern is lovely. The ability to cultivate an eye for combining colors and patterns is perfected over time - Excellent.
